Hey Guys,
You all most probably have read many great reviews about New Cid cosmetics. I know I have and recently I've been trying out the New Cid i-finish translucent loose powder*.
So to start off, I quite like the sleek packaging of the product. It has your basic sifter once you open the lid of the powder. Its easy to use and makeup bag friendly too actually. The product comes in only two shades light and dark. My first impression of it in all honesty was 'I can't use this', because when I swatched it, it had some shimmer to it. I have nothing against shimmer based powders but because I have combo skin I try and stay away from them. But I gave it a go and I have to say this is a beautiful product.
The powder itself is a very finely milled powder. It has a gorgeous sheen to it because of the shimmer element but it's not glittery. It blends so well into my skin and makes the surface really smooth which means none of the cakey mess some powders make on your skin. It keeps shine at bay as well as keeping my skin matte which is an important factor for my oily T-zone. The light shade is perfect for my skin and adapts to it well. I actually prefer to use translucent powders rather than a coloured one as find most look really muddy on my skin for some reason. It sets foundation/concealer really well too and the sheen to it adds an instant highlight. Gorgeous for the summer time. You can purchase the New Cid Translucent powder* from Hairtrade.com which is UK's one of leading online retailer for hair extensions, hair care and beauty products.
