I recently received an email which was something right up my street. An email telling me about a competition Ted Baker is holding exclusively for bloggers. I am a big big Ted baker fan and I was on that website within 5 minutes of reading the email. I love their tailoring, their collections, style, everything! So, you have to put together a look using only 3 pieces from their collection and tell them why you picked what you picked. As long as it's available on the site, it's as good. Find out more here.
Everyone that knows me, know the fact that I am print crazy girl. I love them . I think the type of print a person chooses really says something about them and their personality. Plus I make prints so it's something very close to me.
So because of that I choose this beautiful dress. This was the first dress I looked at and even though I loved so many others I kept going back to it. The symmetrical graphic floral print on this is gorgeous and gives a nice pleated and flowy feel to it which is perfect for summer. It's a loose fitting dress and hangs loose which I feel is a great cut for summer. The back has a small zipper as well which is great little detail added to it. And the colours are so summer appropriate. I love the beautiful pink colour palette running through the dress.
I paired the dress with the some plain pale pink peep toe heels. I thought adding a cross body bag to this would be perfect to make the dress appear casual but also classy with the heels. I adore the bag! It's also pale pink like the shoes which I thought looked perfect with the dress. It really doesn't divert your attention from the dress. I love the subtle baby pink against the bright pink of the dress. I personally like to have a cross body bag in the summer because I don't like to carry big bags around. I feel that's more winter? haha
I wanted to make this appear classy, elegant yet have a casual feel to it.
I would 100% wear this. I love it! And I would love to know your thoughts! :)
Wish me luck in this competition as it would be the most amazing thing! Can you tell I am Ted Baker fan?!
