Top 5 Red Lipsticks - Guest Post

Hi guys!
I have another guest post for you guys! Today The lovely Hannah from Midnight Violets will be talking about her Top 5 red lipsticks!  I love reading guest posts as I discover some lovely blogs through it. I hope you guys find this one as lovely as I did and also helpful!
Hareem x

Hello! My names Hannah and I blog over at Midnight Violets all about make-up and beauty! Today Hareem has been kind enough to let me do a little guest post for you (thanks lovely!), so I've decided to take you through five of my favourite red lip products. To help you relate these lip colours to your skintone a little better I ought to tell you what my skintone is! Very pale as you can see, but with cool undertones, meaning I favour neutral and blue toned lipsticks. I hope you like my post :)

MUA Lipstick - Shade 13
(£1, Superdrug & MUA's Website)
Not the longest lasting lipstick, but a beautiful bright, slightly blue toned lipstick. And believe it or not this has a beautiful silky smooth, pigmented texture, all for just £1.

BarryM Ultra Moisturizing Lip Paint - 162
(£4.49, Boots & Superdrug)
When I want a slightly deeper red lip, this is always the one I go for! With it's slightly glossy finish this is nice and moisturizing as the name hints at and looks gorgeous with a brown smoky eye.

MUA Intense Colour Lip Liner - Red Drama
(£1, Superdrug & MUA's Website)
The lip swatch of this one is purely the lip liner and nothing else, which is actually how I quite often wear it. This lasts forever on the lips and has a pretty neutral (albeit very bright!) tone to it. If you're looking for something truely matte, this is your answer!

ELF Matte Lip Colour - Rich Red
(£3.75, ELF's Website)
Although this says matte, I'd actually say it's more of a satin finish, but still just enough to make it apply really smoothly to the lips and not feel dry once on. This shade is slightly darker than the two MUA products mentioned, but with a slight blue tone to it.

Sleek Pout Paint - Pin Up
(£4.99, Superdrug & Sleeks Website)
And for the times when I want a super glossy pigmented look I opt for this little guy. This is Sleeks answer to the OCC Lip Tars - just cheaper!

I really hope you all enjoyed reading my post and a big thank you to Hareem for letting me takeover her blog for the day!
Have a great week,
Hannah x
