Top 5 of the month

Is January actually coming to an end? I thought I'd do my very first Top 5 of the month post like I mentioned I would in my new year's blog resolutions. I think it's good I am doing this because I actually used these quite a bit this month!
I don't wear eyeshadow that much. Only on special occasions or some matte brown eyeshadow on my crease. But this month I did go out shopping etc quite a bit and thought that I should utilize my eyeshadows. As much as I love looking at people wearing bright coloured shadows, I don't think it'll ever suit me so I just stick to the natural colours. This month I have been loving my Naked Palette. I love all the colours in it and they just blend really nicely and look great! It's one of my favourites and something that'll never get old (colour wise)!

The Real Techniques expert face brush has been my best-friend all month. Probably even the next month too! I love this brush and I keep going back to it for foundation and contouring. I've reviewed it here if you'd like to see!

Topshop's glitter nail polish in adrenaline is also another item that has been constantly on my nails. You can layer this on top of so many colours and they all look amazing! LOVE this polish! I did a nail of the day with this here!

I recently reviewed the Revlon grow luscious mascara here which I really recommend. This is an awesome mascara that does all three things: defines, adds volume and lengthens!

And lastly, a little winter savior this month has been my much loved Soap and Glory righteous butter which smells gorgeous. I use this everyday at night and my skin feels so soft and nourished. It's actually done wonders for my cuticles! My hands are constantly dry in this weather and I haven't  found any hand creams that work. They all wear off after 3 hours or so. My cuticles are really, really dry and that just looks terrible. So I started to use this on them and with in a week any dryness I had, had gone. Love it.

What are your favourites for January?
Let me know!

  5. Hi honey, I'm kind of similar to you as I rarely wear eyeshadows unless it's a night out, but this year I made myself a resolution to try and wear it every day as part of my makeup routine! I don't have any UD eyeshadows but I'm going to buy a palette soon! I can't decide between Naked and Naked2! xx
