MUA Liquid Eyeliner

I love eyeliners. I am always looking for the perfect ones and doing that I've experimented with many eyeliners whether that's cream, gel or pencil. Before I would never used liquid eyeliner because It would always have that terrible shiny coating to it or the brush would be of no use and because of that I completely stopped using them and didn't bother with liquid. After being introduced to the myface cosmetics matte liquid eyeliner (my absolute favourite!), I wanted to give liquid eyeliners another ago and first up is by MUA which is £1. I thought I'd try this because on blogs alot of people said how great it was.
Being only £1, I wasn't losing much in trying this out but I did have hopes that it would be nice because I do like alot of MUA products. The things I like about the eyeliner is the packaging which is  very sleek and easy to use and the brush which is really great. I personally found the formula to be thin.  The brush itself is lovely for creating a nice smoky eye eyeliner etc because it's very precise and sharp but when you dip it in the bottle you don't get much product. I did apply it and at first it looked fine and matte but after an hour it was shiny and that's something I really dislike in eyeliners. It's a shame because I honestly love the brush itself but its the formula and consistency that lets it down for me. It's quite streaky and it did peal of as well. But it is only £1 and if you can work around that, then give it a go. I can't ask alot with it being quite inexpensive.

Have you tried the MUA liquid eyeliner?
Any eyeliner recommendations?

  1. The brush looks decent, the formula looks a little watery though, but for £1 not bad :)

  2. I had the same problem with this eyeliner! I loved the brush and how easy it was to apply but I found that it began to flake off throughout the day! I suppose I can't complain too much due to the low price. Xx

  6. I don't wear liquid eyeliners for that reason! I can't stand it when they turn shiny on me. I keep wanting to try some though.

Thank you for your comment, Hareem :)

  7. Too bad it's a disappointment! An eyeliner for £1 just sounds too good to be true!
I like my eyeliners matte too! My all time favourite is Sephora Long Lasting liquid eyeliner. It's matte, black and lasts all day. After a 14 hour day it still looks like you just applied it!
But I think you don't have a Sephora in the UK, right?

  10. I have this product and because of it's watery consitency I often use it over a liner that is coming to the end of it's life, it helps blacken out a line that you've already created! It's amazing value for only £1- What would we do without MUA products hey? :) I'd love it if you'd check out my blog www.zoethedreamer.blogspot.co.uk xx
