Winter Florals

I think everyone associates floral patterns with spring and summer. I think that florals are one of those things that can be worn all year around. Though it does depend on the type of floral. In summer people usually opt for bright or pastel shades of floral prints. In the winter darker and bolder colours are much more on trend. Floral patterns are one of my favourites and I thought I'd do a post on winter florals. I found some great pieces that are all floral patterns but in much darker and bolder colours that are very winter appropriate  I see alot of people in plain block coloured clothing during this time but you can always add some pattern to it! Now I am not saying head to toe in floral but just some accents of it :)
winter florals

I picked out these from Topshop, River Island, New look, Accesorize and Miss Selfridge. They have some great selections of floral print clothing for winter at the moment.
I love the Floral kimono cardigan from Topshop  (1st image in the centre).
Love the burn out velvet and how the colours are bright but very autumn-esque. I also love the wedges and the matching clutch from Newlook. They are the perfect accent pieces for an outfit where you still have a bit of floral but not too much. The mirror image/digital print clutch  and the pansy lace and embroidered clutch is from Accesorize which I think look quite nice and modern as well.

What is your favourite piece and what to do think about winter florals?

  1. Summer florals are really boring now, mostly because everyone wears them! I love winter florals however, the velvet kimono is beautiful! xx
